Virginia Credit Services
Disclosure Statement

Provided pursuant to the Virginia Credit Services Businesses Act · Va. Code §§ 59.1-335.6–335.7

Virginia law requires ScoreBoost to give you this information statement — and to obtain your signed acknowledgment of it — before you sign any contract for our services and before we receive any money or other valuable consideration.

1.  Your right to review your credit file

You have the right to review any file on you maintained by any consumer reporting agency, and to receive a copy of a consumer report containing all information in that file, as provided under the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. § 1681g).

You have the right to receive a free copy of your credit report every 12 months from each of the three nationwide consumer reporting agencies (Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion), as provided under the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. § 1681j). You can order these free reports at www.AnnualCreditReport.com or by calling 1-877-322-8228 (toll-free).

A copy of the consumer report containing all information in your file will be furnished free of charge by the consumer reporting agency if you request it within 60 days of receiving a notice of a denial of credit (15 U.S.C. § 1681j). If you have already obtained the free credit report you are entitled to annually and you have not been denied credit within 60 days of your request, the consumer reporting agency may impose a nominal charge for a copy of your report.

2.  Your right to dispute

You have the right to dispute the completeness or accuracy of any item contained in any file on you maintained by any consumer reporting agency, as provided under the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. § 1681i). The consumer reporting agency must reinvestigate free of charge and record the current status of the disputed information, or delete the item.

3.  Services to be performed and the total amount payable

ScoreBoost will obtain and review your credit reports from the three nationwide credit bureaus, audit each tradeline and public record against the Metro 2® reporting standard, prepare, mail, and track dispute and reinvestigation requests for items that appear inaccurate, unverifiable, or obsolete, and document the outcome of every round. ScoreBoost does not guarantee any specific result.

Total amount payable to ScoreBoost for these services: $0. The only amount you pay in connection with the services is a required credit-monitoring subscription with MyFreeScoreNow, a third party ($1 for a 7-day trial, then $29.95 per month at its then-current rate), billed by and cancellable with MyFreeScoreNow. It is your own subscription; ScoreBoost receives no part of it.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
YOU HAVE NO OBLIGATION TO PAY ANY FEES OR CHARGES UNTIL ALL SERVICES HAVE BEEN PERFORMED COMPLETELY FOR YOU, UNLESS YOU ENTER INTO A SUBSCRIPTION AGREEMENT REQUIRING PERIODIC PAYMENTS IN CONSIDERATION FOR ONGOING SERVICES.

Acknowledgment of Receipt

I, the undersigned consumer, acknowledge that I received a copy of this information statement from ScoreBoost before signing any contract or agreement for its services and before ScoreBoost received any money or other valuable consideration.
